Founded in 2009, Kemper Law LLC is an established, full-service law firm serving clients across Minnesota, Wisconsin and points beyond, with an emphasis on litigation, construction and real estate for individual and business clients. While we do a substantial amount of litigation, that is not all that we do. We take active steps to avoid litigation in the future by providing practical advice to you now. Necessary preparation requires you to keep your personal assets separate from your business assets to create that layer of liability protection to ensure your personal and company’s future growth and expansion. Proper planning now also prevents a departed partner or shareholder from bringing your business down later. For these reasons, Kemper Law offers a wide variety of services to its clients, from selecting and forming the proper legal entity at the start-up, through proper dissolution of your business or business succession planning at the wind-down (and everything in between).

Over 90% of all legal communications between an attorney and client are done over the phone or online. We do not have to live in your community in order to represent you, but we will travel to meet you for personal one-on-one communications. We align our schedule with yours so your legal matters are taken care of in a timely fashion. With transactional matters, court appearances are very rare. With litigation matters, we travel to where we need to go, whether it is an on-site inspection, deposition or court appearance. Again, the vast majority of communications occur between parties without face-to-face contact, so do not be discouraged from contacting us because we are not in your town. We have handled cases across Minnesota, literally from Angle Inlet to LaCrescent and from Grand Marais to Worthington (and everything in between). We will travel to you!
